Release notes

This is variant C and most likely the third pressing CD of And Then There Were Three manufactured by PDO plant in Blackburn, Lancashire, UK.

The catalogue number of this CD issue is CDSCD 4010. The CD was released under Charisma / Virgin label and distributed across the UK via Virgin Records LTD. distribution channel. This CD could also been distributed abroad.

The disc has a pale blue label, the same colour as previous two variants. Only Charisma logo is present on the label, there is no Virgin logo on disc. Compact Disc logo is in large. Made in U.K. is printed on the label, at 6 o'clock. The matrix numbers are CDSCD4010 1000361 01% and these are completely different numbers from previous variants. It also means that PDO has created their own glass master to manufacture this CD. Previous variants could have the glass master borrowed from the West German Polygram plant.

There is no barcode and no "Printed in West Germany" present on rear insert. Inserts are printed in the UK, probably by PDO.

the outer mirror band

Genesis - And Then There Were Three, CDSCD 4010 manufactured by PDO, UK.
The outer mirror band variation

The disc label remain exactly the same as the one from variant B entry, the only difference is in the matrix numbers. Also this variant has an outer mirror band/rim, which is visible from the playing side of the disc. Two previous variants does not have the outer mirror band.

In terms of rarity, I would say this copy is rather hard to find but there are still some copies around.

Disc variation

No variation that I know of.
